Ty Dillon and Germain Racing have yet to unveil their 2019 designs at this stage.
But behind the scenes, they’re working hard in preparation to kick off their 2019 campaign in the next two weeks.
After Richard Childress Racing sold off its No.27 charter to StarCom Racing on a permanent basis, they chose to expand their ties with Germain further.
That’s how Germain moved into RCR’s race shop in the Dillons’ hometown of Welcome, North Carolina during the off-season.
So there will be close checkups regarding the technical and equipment support between those two organizations.
That way Germain could help Ty Dillon focus on achieving regular Top 15-20 runs on a regular basis as the third RCR satellite car.
Where will Ty Dillon finish in 2019?
It may not be easy.
But Ty Dillon has the support from RCR and Germain to become established towards the midfield pack.
The likes of Matt DiBenedetto in the No.95 Leavine and Paul Menard in the No.21 Wood Brothers will have to watch out under Ty Dillon’s watch soon.
Don’t forget the pair of Ryan Preece and Chris Buescher at JTG Daugherty Racing too.
Fierce competition to finish within the Top 20-25 Drivers’ Standings will be interesting to watch.
Ty Dillon can demonstrate plenty of hard work rather than getting outpaced by top-tiered equipment.
Though, that will sometimes change if these guys wreck anywhere during the race and he survives before the day is done.
Apart from that, finish as high as he can every week in the Top 20 and occasionally some Top 10s, then he can call it a great season.
It’s year three in Ty Dillon’s tenure at this organization as it’s Go Tyme heading into next month.
A miracle like following his brother Austin will do the world of Ty for good in his Cup career.
